-- Bruce Feirstein Personality: Tracey is a bit different than the other Slytherins. She has no desire to be a Death Eater and actually wants to be a doctor at St. Mungo’s. That being said, she is a rather morbid girl and would enjoy the blood and use of operating tools, should she be hired into her desired profession. She would be prone to 'experimenting', instead of completing her assigned task right away, probably leading to disaster. She is also a bit quirky and, though she does sometimes give good advice, may offer some strange tips as well. She is relatively nice to everybody and will only insult somebody if they offend or insult her first. Being a halfblood, she is also a bit touchy on the subject of blood purity within the Slytherin common room. She tries to keep it hidden, however, as she doesn’t want her housemates to know that she is only a halfblood, instead of a pureblood, like she led them to believe that she is. She tends to avoid her housemates all together sometimes, instead preferring to spend time with Ravenclaws, Hufflepuffs and the occasional Gryffindor when no one's looking. Tracey, more often than not, is a bundle of contradictions. She is a bit of a compulsive liar a lot of the time, just to rile people up. Other times, she’s brutally honest, to the point of making people just a little bit angry. It all depends on her mood and the company that she’s in. Despite her fear of being rejected because of blood purity, she has no problem getting ousted socially because of the things she says. What the sorting hat saw that put her in Slytherin is mostly her ambition toward her goals in life. She never wavered from what she wanted to do despite criticism and the trouble she had in some classes. She has a really strong drive to succeed, thus she has a dislike of serious conflict. She likes to stir the pot a little bit once in a while, but as for real arguments, she prefers to avoid it at all cost. She feels that if she's fighting with classmates, it will prevent her from concentrating on more important things. So she avoids it. History: Tracey was born a halfblood. Her mother was a muggle prostitute and her father was a wizard. She never met her mother, but her aunt lived in the house with her and her father, so she never had a problem with female interaction. Her father, being a Death Eater, was rarely home and was taken to Azkaban nearly eight years after Voldemort's fall. It was then that Tracey's aunt taught her everything she knew. A year later, she heard that her father had passed away in Azkaban, but by then she didn't particularly care because her aunt was her primary care giver and she rarely talked with her father at all. When she was eleven, Tracey received her Hogwarts letter and she and her aunt were absolutely thrilled. They went to Diagon Alley to buy her a few things, but got a few more things in Knockturne Alley. Tracey did not take those items to school, however, in fear that they would expel her before she walked in the gates. Upon arriving, she was sorted into Slytherin. She fit in relatively well because she never allowed the fact that she was a halfblood to slip out. Tracey actually spent the first couple years at Hogwarts as the quiet girl in the corner. She wasn’t sure what her other housemates would think if they found out that she was a halfblood, so she generally kept to herself for a few years. In her third year, she finally came out of her shell, so to speak, and started actually making friends. She is certainly a bit different from other Slytherins and will talk to anybody from any house if they seem nice enough. Tracey, upon hearing that Voldemort was back, was actually quite scared. She felt no desire to join him whatsoever. Even though she knows her housemates are probably joining him, she fully supports them, but she prefers to stay out of it, especially for fear of her blood heritage getting out. Then again, the slight appeal is that her aunt would be safe if she did join. She's conflicted there, so if somebody can convince her to join either side, she'd gladly do so. Dumbledore’s death shook her up quite a bit. She is now convinced that Voldemort is intending to rid the world of all halfbloods and muggleborns. She doesn’t care what’s in store for her, but she worries about her aunt, who is a squib. The two of them spent the summer between Tracey's sixth and seventh year together and only with each other, should one of them die at the hands of Voldemort. He was defeated, though, which relieved Tracey, even though her housemates were likely unhappy about it. She also finally let it slip that she was a halfblood now that she didn't have to dorm with them. Tracey didn't last long after the war. She was working at St. Mungo's with a dangerous patient. One of the nurses hadn't secured him tightly enough, so while her back was turned, he managed to get loose. He came at her with a scalpel. She was hardly recognizable in the morgue. Why her? Tracey is a nut. I love her so much. xD People she'd talk to: Everyone! She'll chat up almost anyone in-game, unless they scare her. Most Death Eaters frighten her. | |||||||||
